A new release of the Distributed Transaction System has been released to support the latest version of DTS/CICS on IBM VSE/ESA CICS. The new version is compatible with DTS/CICS for MVS/ESA.

DTS for VSE/ESA CICS includes an optional support for VSE/ESA native TCP/IP protocol usage. The traditional SNA LU6.2 support is still the default supplied. The TCP/IP support is a desired new feature that allows much more flexible connectivity to the wide range of different DTS platforms, like UNIXes, VMS, MPE and Windows.
