A new release of the Distributed Transaction System for HP 9000 HP-UX is now shipping. DTS/HP-UX V2.1 is a full-function DTS environment for Hewlett-Packard HP 9000 hardware running HP-UX operating system 9.x or 10.x.

DTS/HP-UX V2.1 offers TCP/IP communications, layered on the operating system IP services. Via DTS a HP 9000 HP-UX system can access application services on and exchange messages with other DTS environments like other UNIXes, VMS, CICS, MPE, OS/400, OS/2, Windows...

DTS/HP-UX V2.1 uses the new DTS License Authorization Key mechanism. It allows more flexible distribution of evaluation kits and software upgrades.
