From now on we will start to provide most Distributed Transaction System documents in the Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) as well. This format enables interactive viewing and easier printing of the documentation, especially in PC environments where PostScript printers are not that common. The PostScript versions of the documents will continue to coexist for them who have access to native PostScript printing devices.

These PDF files can be browsed and printed using the Adobe Acrobat Reader software, version 3.0 or higher. It is available free of charge for a variety of different platforms directly from the Adobe WWW site.
