Free DTS evaluation kits now available

From now on we offer a possibility to get certain Distributed Transaction System software
versions for evaluation and test use without any charge. This has become possible due to
the implementation of the License Authorization Key mechanism to the latest DTS releases.
A temporary test license may be granted for up to 12 weeks to allow the customer to
install, run and evaluate DTS in their own environment. Each license is granted for a
single target platform and the host/computer name of the system must be known.
To submit a request for an evaluation license the
registration form must be filled up.
The kit and documentation may be downloaded instantly. The License Certificate containing
the License Authorization Key will be delivered later via email. It is possible to submit
several requests to obtain licenses for multiple systems.
At the moment the the evaluation kits are available for the following environments:
- IBM RISC System/6000 running AIX
- Hewlett-Packard HP 9000 Series 800 running HP-UX
- Hewlett-Packard HP 3000 Series 900 running MPE/iX
- Industry-standard Intel-based PC running Windows 95 or NT
