New version of DTS for LINUX on AMD64 architecture

19th January 2006

A new parallel distribution of DTS/LINUX V4.0 is now shipping. DTS/LINUX V4.0 AMD64 is a full-function DTS environment for AMD 64-bit processor architecture (x86_64) running native 64-bit LINUX with kernel version 2.6 or higher.

The new version is a true 64-bit implementation of the DTS Middleware kernel, taking advantage of the longer processor word length. Significant improvement in cryptography calculation speed is the most visible benefit when compared to traditional industry-standard 32-bit environments. On average DTS/LINUX V4.0 AMD64 is capable of executing up to 1500-2000 message transactions per second even with medium scale hardware.

As its parallel implemention for Intel IA32 architeture, DTS/LINUX V4.0 AMD64 offers TCP/IP communications, layered on the operating system IP services. Via DTS a LINUX system can access application services on and exchange messages with other DTS environments like other UNIXes, VMS, CICS, MPE, OS/400, Windows...

The DTSCRYPT strong data encryption support provides DTS transactions and intersystem communication a very secure environment where business critical data may be transferred as DTS messages over insecure communication lines safely.

DTS/LINUX V4.0 uses the DTS License Authorization Key mechanism. It allows more flexible distribution of evaluation kits and software upgrades. To submit a request for a free evaluation license, please fill up the registration form.
