The official release of the Distributed Transaction System for Windows NT product is now available. DTS/WinNT V1.1 is native 32-bit Windows software and offers the traditional, easy-to-use DTS Application Programming Interface for 32-bit Windows development environments, like Microsoft Visual C++ and VisualBasic.

DTS/WinNT V1.1 contains support for TCP/IP communications, layered directly on the standard WINSOCK interface. Via DTS a Windows NT or 95 system can access application services on and exchange messages with other DTS environments like different UNIXes, VMS, MPE, CICS, OS/400, OS/2...

DTS/WinNT V1.1 uses the new DTS License Authorization Key mechanism. It allows more flexible distribution of evaluation kits and software upgrades.
